PHEMA Community Guidelines & Code of Conduct

PHEMA is built on a foundation of kindness, respect, and mutual aid. Our goal is to create a supportive and inclusive space where members of the Phish community (and beyond) can connect, share resources, and help one another. To keep this community thriving, we ask all members to abide by the following guidelines:

 1. Be Kind + Respectful. Don’t Be a Dick.

PHEMA is a community rooted in collaboration and cooperation. Treat everyone with kindness and respect, even when disagreements arise. Harassment, hate speech, bullying, or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. Bullying, in any form, including repeated harassment or intimidation, has no place here and will result in immediate action.

2. Keep It Civil & Constructive

Healthy discussion is encouraged, but personal attacks, inflammatory language, or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated. Disagreements should be handled with patience and a willingness to understand different perspectives.

 3. No Spam, Scams, or Self-Promotion

While we support community-driven projects, excessive self-promotion, spam, and solicitation without permission are prohibited.

4. Respect Privacy & Confidentiality

Do not share private or personal information (your own or others’) without consent. This includes full names, addresses, phone numbers, and any other sensitive details.

 5. Keep Content Appropriate

Avoid posting graphic, explicit, or otherwise inappropriate content. PHEMA is a diverse space that includes people of all ages and backgrounds, and we aim to keep our discussions welcoming to everyone.

 6. No Hate Speech or Harmful Content

Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or any form of hate speech is strictly prohibited. Content that promotes self-harm, violence, or illegal activities will be removed, and the responsible members may be banned.

7. Support & Help One Another

PHEMA exists to foster a culture of support. Offer help when you can, and don’t hesitate to ask for assistance when needed. We are all in this together!

8. Moderation & Enforcement

Our team of moderators will review reported content and take action as necessary. Depending on the severity of a violation, actions may include warnings, content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent bans. If you believe a decision was made in error, you may reach out to the moderation team for review.

9. Reporting Issues

If you witness behavior that goes against these guidelines, please report it to our moderation team. We rely on our community to help us maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

10. Have Fun & Share Good Energy!

This community is here to lift each other up and make life a little brighter. Enjoy your time in PHEMA, meet new friends, and be excellent to each other!
